Carolyn A. Heston, 75, of Anderson, passed away on January 11, 2014 at Community Northview Care Center, Anderson. She was born on April 3, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Carolyn graduated from Herron Art Institute, and worked for Block's in Indianapolis, then worked for the YWCA in Anderson for 20 years, and then for Dr. Perez in Anderson. She was a Board Member of the Grunewald House Society, she was on the Heritage Craft Festival Committee in Pendleton, and belonged to Arts and Letters. Carolyn is survived by several cousins; nieces; nephews; and a brother and sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Heston; mother, Mary Phyllis Smith; and her father, Thomas "Smitty" Smith.
