Mrs. John B. Reis of Knox City, Mo., died at Blessing hospital at 3:30 o'clock, Sunday morning of a complication of diseases. She had been a patient at the hospital for a week.

Mrs. Reis was born in Knox City, and was 40 years old. She is survived by her husband; one son, John Vernon Reis, aged 18, and one sister, Mrs. Samuel Snell of Knox City. The body was taken to the undertaking parlors of D. A. Wheeler and sent to Knox City, Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be held from the Methodist church there Wednesday.

Mrs. John Reis Dead.

Mrs. John Reis of Knox City, 40 years old, died Sunday morning in Blessing Hospital in Quincy following an illness of about two weeks and an operation for appendicitis the week before. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the M. E. Church in Knox City by R. Rhoades and Rev. H. J. Everly. Burial was in the Linville cemetery here. She is survived by her husband and one son, Vernon; one sister, Mrs. W. L. Hayes, and four brothers, John, William, Garrard and "Jinks" Snell. Mrs. Reis, as Miss Nancy Belle Snell, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Snell, was born June 28, 1881, in Knox County, where she was reared. She married to Mr. Reis February 10, 1909 [sic], and they were the parents of one child, the son who survives.
