Mrs. Dorothy was born in Statesboro to the late Milledge and Eva Mae Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Jones; and a son, Donald Jones. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Emory Jones of Statesboro and Brenda and Coley Cooper of Bloomingdale; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers, William Smith and Jake Smith of Macon; sisters, JoEllen Wilson of Florida and Ann Martin of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with the graveside funeral and burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, located off of Highway 25 in Bulloch County.
