Mrs. Baker Dies at 68
CANAJOHARIE—Mrs. Harriet M. Baker, 68, wife of Luke Baker, 4 Third Ave., Canajoharie, died this morning in a Utica Hospital, where she had been a patient for four months. She was born in Wells on Sept. 18, 1900, the daughter of Fred and Mabel Orr Harden, and had been a lifelong resident of Canajoharie. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three brothers, Everett Harden of Palatine Bridge; Harmon Harden, Batavia, and Charles Harden, California, two sisters, Mrs. Boyd Clark of Canajoharie, and Mrs. Edwin Lord, Pine Lake; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lenz Funeral Home, Canajoharie, with the Rev. Keith Snow, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Fort Plain cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and Sunday afternoon and evening.
