Mrs. Jean Atkins, 51, of Escondido, CA, a resident of College Place, died at her home Thursday.

She was former co-owner of Home Style Bakery in College Place and had lived there for many years. She had left 3 years ago, moving to Tacoma for a year and then settled in California.

Mrs. Atkins is survived by her husband, Francis of College Place; her daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Carla) Ballou of Connell, WA, and mrs. larry (Lois) Cannady of Portland; her sons, Terry of Kirkland, WA, Bruce of Birkeley, CA, and dale of Enterprise, OR; her brothers, Zeenis Smick of Grand Coulee, WA, Del Smick of Connell, WA, and Jay Smick of Spokane, and a sister, Mrs. Emil (Alice) Caloz of san Bruno, CA.
