Born in Lebanon May 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Fischer Smetana. She was a retired sewing machine operator at the former Milsan Mills in Lebanon. She enjoyed crocheting, and was a member of St. Benedict The Abbot Church. Surviving are children Christina M. Baez of Lebanon; Roberta A. Wiseman of CA; and Richard R. Fake of Myerstown; grandchildren Chris, Allison, Hillary, Todd, Erica, Allen, Becky, and Jessie; several great grandchildren; sister Catherine Brightbill of Lebanon. Preceded in death by brothers John, Joe, and Andy Smetana. Funeral Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
