OBITUARY: BRIGHAM CITY – Lois Marsh Slager, 89 loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Country Lane Assisted Living. She was born March 28, 1920 in Willard, UT, a daughter of David R. and Eliza Petersen Marsh. Lois married Earl C. Slager on December 18, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Lois was a member of the LDS Church and during her life time served as primary president, teacher in both primary and Sunday school. In addition she served for 10 years with her husband as a guide at the Box Elder Tabernacle. Her favorite pastimes were working out in the yard, trips to Hawaii with her husband, family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters: Susan Slager of Bountiful and Sydnee and son-in-law Jake Sedmack of Brigham City, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Slager, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. The family would like to thank Country Lane for their caring compassionate service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E, Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. Resided in Brigham City, UT.
