She was born at the Unibersity of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville on Sept. 29, 1949, daughter of the late Eugene "Bud" Puckett who predeceased her on Oct. 12, 1995, and Louise Scott Puckett of Afton (both of Nelson Co.). Patricia was a member of the Mountain View Full Gospel Church of Afton, an employee of ConAgra Frozen Foods in Crozet for 25 years, an avid supporter of SPCA and a lover of animals. Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Skwarlo who she married on April 5, 1969; two sisters and their husbands, Glenda "Cookie" and Danny Atkins of Gordonsville and Barbara "Bobbie" and Morgan Moses of Charlottesville; two nephews and their wives, Randall and Beth Atkins; two nieces and their husbands, Wendy and Kelly Mahanes and Kim and Dan Cappuzzo; three great nephews and two great nieces. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Waynesboro chapel of Etter-Reynolds Funeral Service, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Watson and the Rev. Curtis Morris, with burial following in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Randall Atkins, Kelly Mahanes, Doswell Diggs, Andy Fisher, Donald Sprouse and Wayne Skwarlo. Honorary pallbearers will be her many friends and coworkers. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at he home of Pat's mother Louise Puckett of 3029 Dick Woods Road, Afton.
