We are confident Alta is buried in the plot next to her husband Edgar Anthony Marvin. Her grave is unmarked and Nelson Township burial records were destroyed in a fire. Thankfully her death certificate designates her burial in DeCou Cemetery. East Nelson township cemetery used to be called DeCou. This can be verified from county histories which refer to well known persons who are said to be buried in DeCou cemetery.
