She was preceded in death by her true love, Nicholas L. Skorich, her husband of 56 years, and former Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Joseph Scaffede.
She was the beloved mother of the late Nicholas L. Skorich Jr., Joanne Smith (Ed Smith), and Paula Mathews (Robert Mathews); grandmother to Jessica Murray (Robert Murray), Nicholas Mathews and Teresa Mathews; great-grandmother to Reese, Graham and Scarlett Murray.
She was always affectionately referred to as 'Mom' and 'Grandma' by many, and had a special place in her heart for her many cherished Godchildren.
Teresa was not only a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, but she was also an executive assistant at General Motors in Detroit, Mich., and a valued team member of Response Analysis in Princeton, N.J.
She also dedicated many years to volunteer work for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Final viewing will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, at the funeral home.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly, N.J. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton, N.J.
