Mary Orplena Perkins born January 11, 1931 in Sadieville Ky to Elzie and Virgie Skinner.
She married Leo Wilson Dietz January 11, 1947 at the young age of 16. After Leo died from accidental electrocution on Dec 1, 1962 in Kentucky, years later she married Thomas Perkins they had one child in this marriage, Mary Ann Perkins, they divorced shortly afterward.
Mary loved traveling,casino gambling, flowers along with love for all her children and grand children. So many memories will be kept from all the traveling to casinos and loved scenery trips as well.
She died from brain tumor from primary site breast cancer. She died at her home she dearly loved, 3315 Carlisle Avenue Latonia Kentucky, on October 28, 2007 at 4pm.
She was survived by her children, daughters Alma Dietz of Covington Kentucky, Evelyn (nickname Dolly) and her husband Donald Tomlin of Grant County Kentucky, Judy West of Ohio, Brenda (Lloyd)of Verona Kentucky, Carol Landrum of Kentucky along with Mary Ann Perkins-Stevens of Kentucky.
Sons: John Dietz (Patti) Hebron Ky, Earl Dietz died June 14, 2013 (Linda) Walton Kentucky, Richard Leo Dietz of Walton Kentucky, Melvin Ray Dietz (Charlene) of Covington Kentucky and Rodney Dietz (Patty) of Independence Kentucky.
Also survived by many grandchildren and numerous great grand children, as well as many wonderful neighbors and friends who was dear to her,especially Bill West prior to his death for the many vacations he drove her on and also Randal Mason who assisted in taking her on many wonderful vacations to casinos and scenery trips that she enjoyed so much.
Her husband Leo Wilson Dietz died in December 2, 1962 from accident at home in Grant County Kentucky. She divorced her second husband , Thomas Perkins.
Her mother Virgie Skinner and Elzie her father preceeded her in death and are buried in Odd Fellow Cemetary Corinth Ky. Services were Don Catchen Funeral Home in Elsmere Kentucky and burial took place in Odd Fellow Cemetary in Corinth Kentucky.
