Betty E. Sisler Burd, 69, of Uniontown, died Friday March 17, 1995, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born April 19, 1925, in Hazleton, W.Va., daughter of Azile Arthur Sisler of Orlando, Fla., and the late Charles O. Sisler. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by two brothers, Charles W. Sisler in infancy and Dale Sisler. Mrs. Burd was a member of the Circle Club. She is survived by her husband, Norman L. Burd; a sister, Mrs. William (Lois Jean) Kostelnik, of Uniontown; a stepson, Larry Burd, of Uniontown; and step-grandsons, Robert and Lawrence Burd. Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Uniontown today, and Monday, March 20, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. David Keller officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. [Unknown Source]
