Helen Singleton Julian 1917 ~ 2005
Helen Singleton Julian, 87, died at home on June 2, 2005, of causes incident to age.
She was born December 5, 1917 in West Point, Utah to Lawrence W. and Florence N. Singleton.
She married Charles L. Julian on January 21, 1939 in Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.
He died on May 10, 2005.
She and Charles raised their family in Salt Lake City, teaching by example the values of honesty, integrity, and generosity.
Her family and church activities were of utmost importance to her.
Together they served an LDS mission in Rome, Italy.
She will be remembered for her love of family, selfless service to others, compassion and her sense of humor.
She was greatly admired for her strength of character, optimism, and her giving nature.
Everyone was welcome at her table and there was always room for one more.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Steven G.) Boyer and Sue Ann (John N.) Oblad; and brothers, Stan L. (Elaine) Singleton, Don K. (Kathleen) Singleton, and Wayne R. (Carlene) Singleton.
Also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son, Larry C. Julian; and sisters, Thelma (Penny) Steiner and Laurene Ainsworth.
Funeral services will be Sat., June 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Murray.
Family visitation will be held 12:00-12:45 prior to the services.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy.
