MAKRIS, Bonnie Jean -- Most Cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away in her home, September 8, 2003, surrounded by her loving and caring family. Bonnie was born to Lester and Isabelle Bruce Sims in Evanston, Wyoming on May 9, 1933. She was raised and educated in Evanston. She married Mitchell Makris on May 14, 1964, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She and Mitch lived in Kansas City and other cities throughout the West, finally retiring in Evanston, Wyoming. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Survivors include her husband, sons, Bruce Hartzell, Rick Makris and wife, Jeannie, sister Janet Kindler, Aunt Mary and Uncle George Schwitzer, grandchildren, Trevor, Casey and Jed Hartzell, Jason, Kelsey, and Ty Makris, great-granddaughters Kodi Marie, and Taysia Lynn, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Viewing will be at the Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta St, Evanston, WY, where friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Sept. 10, 2003. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming. Interment to follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
