Carmen Marie Sims, 54, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 1985 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper, Wyoming. Carmen Melton was born March 24, 1930 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Carl and Vera Melton. She was raised and educated in Big Horn, Wyoming. She married Arthur M. Sims April 21, 1968 in Douglas, Wyoming. She and Art have resided in Douglas since their marriage, he being associated with PP&L at the Dave Johnston Steam Plant. She is survived by her husband, Art of Douglas; her daughter and son-in-law Judith and Arnie Bergstrom of Lafayette, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Brooke and Justin Bergstrom; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Margaret Melton of Torrington; her parents, Carl and Vera Melton of Douglas; as well a a nephew, Kent Melton and several cousins.
