Jimmie Sims Rowland, 92, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Select, 9550 Forest Lane, Suite 511, Dallas, Texas 75243.

Jimmie was born Feb. 4, 1920, in Tyler. She worked for the Texas Employment Commission for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John E. Rowland, in 2009.

Survivors: Daughter, Robin Grubb and husband, Keith; granddaughters, Lauren and Nicole Grubb; niece, Susan McDaniel; and great-nephew, Jim Howe.
