Kathryn Ewing Sims passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in Cleburne, Texas. She was a 58 year member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sims was born January 27, 1917 in Brownwood, Texas.
She was raised by her Aunt and Uncle, respectively, Rowena Ewing Jenkins and Pierce Ewing of Brownwood, both of whom preceded her in death.
Kathryn married Jim Tom Sims on August 12, 1934, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her son, James Ewing Sims and wife, Sandy; grandchildren, Keith Ewing Sims and wife, Tammy, Laura Kay Sims and partner, Lissy Bethmann, and James Kyle Sims and wife, Dana; great grandchildren, Shelby Kay Selph and husband, Kevin, James Parker Sims, Mallary Rae Anderson and Jackson Troy Sims.
The family of Kathryn wishes to express its gratitude to Mission Hospice Care and Ridgeview Rehabilitation Center for their loving and attentive care of Kathryn.
