Mrs. Adams was born in Sant Anna November 27, 1895, the daughter of James D. and Lula (Turner) Simpson. She was a graduate of Santa Anna High School and attended Howard Payne College. She was a housewife and a Methodist. She was a long-time resident of Santa Anna moving to Marshall in 1976.
Survivors are a son, Dr. Frank D. Adams of Marshall; a sister, Mary Lucksinger of Austin; and two brothers, Tom H. Simpson Sr. of Weslaco and James Simpson of Corpus Christi.
