Carol Simpson, 57, of Geff, IL passed away 1:40PM Saturday July 21st, 2012 at Way- Fair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fairfield, Illinois.

Carol was born July 7, 1955 at Geff, IL to Robert Neal and Amanda Veda (Hutchcraft) Jones. She married Lester Simpson June 26, 1971 at Fairfield, IL.

Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening, flea marketing and antiquing. She was employed at West Salem Champion for 20 plus years and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion in Cisne, IL.

Carol is survived by her husband Lester Simpson; two daughters Heather Kessel and Hallie Cannon; two sisters Sandra Ross and Gayla Glowacki and one sister-in-law Vicki Jones. Six Grandchildren also survive.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers George Hutchcraft and Robert Jones.

Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.

Memorial may be given to Way-Fair Comfort Room or Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
