believe Roda was born in New York but at times see N.J.
They traveled from N.Y. , Ohio, Marion Co, IN. settleing in Iowa counties of Muscatine and Scott Iowa

Told she died in the Republic of Mexico, but believe she had daughter/family in New Mexico.

Married Clarmont Co, OHio May 6 c1817

On daughter Electa headstone Motheres name spelled Roda,
check other spellings of first and last names.

They lived/or part to their farm is Blue Grass Cemetery,
Scott Co, Iowa. Some of their children settled in neigboring county of Pleaseant Prairie, Fulton Twp, Muscatine Co, Iowa.

Part of their land was given to this cemetery.
They came to Blue Grass Point along with their children.
They are buried here or in Parr Cemetery.

I am always looking for information on this family as it is my direct line.

It is my understanding that Rhoda is buried under the mound next to the headstone of her husband. She was afraid of rodents and a mound was placed on her grave.

Suggested edit: daughter of Ephraim Simpkins Mar 19 1756-22 Jan 1835 Ohio and Hannah Stathem 1764-1838 Cumberland, New Jeresy, USA
Ephraim Simpkins married Rebecca Chandler 1760-?
