The oldest of eight children of Henry George Simon and Apollonia Hoffman Simon, Mary A. Simon Duvelius was born in July 1894 in Campbell County, Kentucky. She married World War I veteran Frank J. Duvelius, and they lived in Campbell County. They had no children, which caused her great emotional distress. She died at age 77 on April 17, 1972 in Campbell County. She and her husband are buried next to her parents. Her heritage was German. I hope one of her relatives will add her photo to this site.
She was the third of four generations of mothers and daughters buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wilder, Campbell County.
