Lola A. (Simon) Leonhardt, 78 years, of N. Main St.,Walbridge,& formerly of Oregon, Ohio,died Friday morning, December 30,1994, in her home. She was born in Toledo on October 23, 1916 to Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Mary Konkoly) Simon. She married George Emil Leonhardt on October 8, 1934 in Toledo & he preceded her in death on January 20,1979. Mrs. Leonhardt was a longtime member of St. Louis Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, the Daughters of Isabella, & a Vounteer for their Helping Hands Meal Program. She was also a Volunteer at St. Charles Hospita & Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home. Mrs. Leonhardt was an avid bowler until just one year ago.
She is survived by her son, Larry G. Leonhardt of Walridge, daughter, Linda Sue (Philip) Kochanski of Oregon;grandsons, Larry G., Jr. Jason & Charles Leonhardt & Phillip Jr., Robert & Joseph Kochanski;great-grandchildren, Amber & Derek Kochanski & Holden Leonhardt.
Family will receive friends from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m.Monday in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Walbridge. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday,January 3, 1995, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome Catholic Church, Walbridge. Fr. Albert Ceranowski will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Township Cemetery. The famiy requests memorial contriutions to the Helping Hands of St. Louis Church.
