Mrs. Emma Simmons Bumgardner, 57, a native of Petroleum who had resided here since 1924, died about 7 am yesterday in her home was at 824 Warfield Ave.
Surviving are the husband, Russell A. Bumgardner; a son, Jasper Bumgardner, Redwood City, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hurst, Spencerville; three brothers, Abram and Alvin Simmons, Kokomo, and Lawrence Simmons in Louisiana; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Ralston, in Oklahoma and Mrs. Myrtle Anderson, North Manchester, and seven grandchildren.
The body is at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon today.
Services will be conducted at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home, Rev. John B. Hills officiating. Burial will be in Alberson Cemetery in Wells County.
