William "Bill" James Simmons, Jr., 60, of Memphis, Tennessee died on December 26, 2013.
A local attorney for many years in East Memphis, Bill was a member of the Memphis & Shelby County Bar Association. He was also an active member in the Bankhead's Battery & and Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Mr. Simmons was born on November 16, 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to William Sr. & Rebecca Reid Simmons.
His friends will gather at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 10 from five o'clock in the evening until a memorial service begins at seven o'clock that evening.
Beside his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister Katherine E. Simmons.
He survived by a cousin, Billy Ethridge who lives in California and a host of friends and peers here in Memphis.
