Mrs. Charles E. Brown
Mrs. Bell Silliman Brown, 86, of 324 Telfair St., died at 9:45 a.m. Friday at her residence after an extended illness.
Mrs. Brown was the wife of Charles E. Brown. Sh was a natie of Columbia, S.C., but had lived in Augusta 74 years.
She taught school at Woodlawn Elementary School from 1900 until 1906. She was amember of St. James Methodist Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Sarah Brown, and Mrs. Earl Bell, both of Augusta, and one gradson, Charles Bell of Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Poteet Chapel with the Rev. L. F. VanLaningham officiation. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
