| Birth: | Apr. 4, 1961 County Durham, England | | Death: | Mar. 10, 2007 Burbank Los Angeles County California, USA | Father Lawrence was raised in Long Beach, where on career day in first Grade he announced to his class that he wanted to be a priest. He attended St. John's Seminary, and was ordained on May 30, 1987.
He was assigned to Holy Family, Queen of Angels, St. Bede the Venerable, and St. Robert Bellarmine in Burbank. He was a very beautiful, caring, loving and charismatic priest who touched all with his deep faith, and love of God. Father Signey's funeral was attended by over 6000 priests, family, and friends. The opening song was "All are Welcome". He will not be forgotten, and is forever in our hearts and the priest with the "red hair" and famous sermons that stayed with you, and made an impression forever.
Father Signey: As soon as God saw you, he admitted you into heavenly paradise causing much joy among the angels and saints, and heaven is truly blessed.
