Katherine S. "Kass" (Siemon) Bush, 75, died peacefully at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Manor Care South in York. She was the loving wife of Harry E. Bush, Jr. to whom she would have been married 54 years in June, 2007. The funeral service for Mrs. Bush will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2007, at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 175 N. Main St. (Rt. 116), Spring Grove, with the Rev. Thomas C. Marickovic, from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Katherine was born December 22, 1931, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late Otto H. and Natalie (Blackburn) Siemon. Kass was a loving and devoted homemaker to her husband and two sons. She was a frequent volunteer for the Kaltreider Public Library in Red Lion and Glatfelter Memorial Library in Spring Grove. She was a member of the Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society, and a former member of the Spring Grove Woman's Club. In addition to her husband, Harry, Mrs. Bush leaves two sons, LTC Gregory E. Bush and his wife, Lynette of St. Charles Parish, La., and Thomas A. Bush and his wife, Kathleen of Spring Grove; four grandsons, SSG Gregory E. Bush, Jr. and his wife, Charlene, SPC Timothy A. Bush, Alexander T. Bush, and Eric N. Bush; and two greatgrandsons, Hadden E. Bush and Ethan G. Bush. Kass was preceded in death by a brother, Otto Siemon; and a sister, Mae Magill Kroh.
