COFFEYVILLE - Juanita Maxine Siebels, 73, of rural Coffeyville died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001, at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons.
She was born Aug. 23, 1928, in rural South Coffeyville, Okla., to Claude Franklin and Alice Irene (Vail) mcKee. She attended the Thompson school.
She married Benjamin Harold Siebels on July 9, 1946, in Independence. They made their home in Coffeyville for a short time before moving to the McKee family farm in rural South Coffeyville. In 1963 they moved to a farm three miles south of Valeda, where they farmed and raised cattle. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a farm wife.
She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Coffeyville and was a former member of the Edna Saddle Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Claudine Cantrell of Coffeyville and Paula Moody of Coffeyville; two sisters, Martha Kelley of rural South Coffeyville and Wilma Powell of Odessa, Texas; and five grandchildren.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel in Coffeyville. Burial will be in the North Edna Cemetery in Edna. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Edna Library may be left at the funeral home.
