In the 1880 U.S. census, George is listed as a justice of the peace and they are living in Hutchinson, Reno Co., Kansas, with their children, Maude 9, Stella M 6, Bessie 4, and Andrew 2. Daughter Zade was not listed on the 1880 census, so would have died as an infant/toddler in 1881. Daughter Stella named her daughter Corinne Zade.
George's father's birthplace is listed as Ohio and his mother's birthplace as Pennsylvania.
Lizzie's father's birthplace is listed as Germany and her mother's birthplace as New Jersey.
