MRS. BELLE KELLY, 88, IS DEAD
Aged Edina Woman Was Last of Family of Eleven Children.
Mrs. Belle Kelly, 88 years old, and for four years an invalid, died early last Thursday morning at her home in Edina. She had been bedfast the last four weeks.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C. S. Young, pastor of the Community Church in Edina, at the late home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Linville cemetery beside the grave of Mrs. Kelly's husband, James Kelly, to whom she was married many years ago, and who has been dead about twelve years.
There are no immediate relatives surviving, only a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kelly was the last survivor of the eleven children of William and Peggy Kemper Shumate, a sister Miss Pocahontas Shumate, having died March 22.

Since that time Mrs. Kelly has lived near and in Edina most of the time, residing in Edina with her late sister since the death of Mr. Kelly. In early live she became a member of the M. E. Church South.
