Mrs. Ann Camp Shumate, age 81 of Elkton, passed away 6:54 p.m. Saturday, October 09, 2010 at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville from natural causes. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Latham Funeral Home with Mr. Jon Partlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Todd County Meadow Haven. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ann was born January 23, 1929 in Logan Co., KY the daughter of the late John Ed and Valla Wilson Camp. She was a homemaker and a member of the West Side Church of Christ in Elkton. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John Junior Shumate of Elkton; one son, Johnny Shumate of Goodlettsville, TN; one daughter, Donna Shumate Pickerill of Hopkinsville; one brother, Tony Camp of Elkton; three grandchildren, Shane Pickerill, Carrie Pickerill and Jordan Shumate; two great grandchildren, Allie Pickerill and Logan Pickerill.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the West Side Church of Christ. 715 W. Main, Elkton, KY 42220.
