Mrs. Fern Aljian
Mrs. Fern Aljian, 49, of 4895 North Siskiyou Avenue, Kerman, died last night in a Madera hospital following a long illness. She was born in San Francisco and lived in the Kerman district for 34 years.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Richard Aljian; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Lober, Toledo, Ohio; a son, Richard, Jr., Kerman; her father, John M. Shubin, and four brothers, Paul and Pete Shubin, all of Kerman, and Wallace and Donald of Fresno, and two sisters, Mrs. Gussie Selbert of Kerman and Mrs. Olga Sedlak of San Luis Obispo. There is one grandchild.
The funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Yost & Webb Mortuary. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
