Leon was a member New Beginnings Church of God in Whitehouse. He retired from Kelly Springfield in Tyler with 17 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and keeping his lawn looking like a golf course.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
He was also preceded in death by another sister Naomi Dickerson, burial place unknown.
Leon was a Godly man, a wonderful neighbor and friend to many.
