Joseph Jay Shoup, 75, R. 4, Fairbury, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, in a Fairbury hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lois Robinson of Columbiaville, Mich., and Mrs. Ruby Beaumont of Englewood, Colo.; one son, William J. Shoup of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Vina Davis of Hebron. His wife, Cora preceded him in death in June of 1972.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Traum-Vance-Gerdes Chapel in Fairbury. The Rev. Richard Waldron will officate. Burial will be in the Reynolds cemetery.
