She had been brought to Luray to consult a pyhsician, who immediately discovered her to be in critical condition, and ordered her removed to the hospital. the immediate cause of her death was heart trouble.
Mrs. Short, who was before marriage a Miss. Good, is survived by her husband and the following children: Harry Short, Stanley, Mrs. Cecil (Myrtle) Presgraves, Luray, Mrs. Olin Dinges, Mrs. Heiskell (Mary) Stillwell, and Charles Jr., all of near Stanley.
Mrs. Short is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, "Boots" Good, Hagerstown, "Bud" Henry Good, Stanley, N.W. Good, Luray, Ernest Good, Mrs. Nellie Purdham, Stanley, Mrs. Pearl McAllister, Ingham, and Tilden Good, of Wilmington, Del.
Mrs. Short was a member of the Stanley Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday at 11 a.m.
