MRS. CHAS. BOLIN DIES
Young Mother Leaves Six Children, Burial Today
Mrs. Charles Bolin, 34, died at her home on Main street three blocks east of the court house Tuesday at 12:20 p. m. February 20 after an illness of ten days. She was effected with asthma later developing into pneumonia which caused her death.
She was formerly Susie Shores the third child of the late Charles Shores and Effie Shores who survives near Latham. She was born November 13, 1905 near Latham.
She was married to Charles Bolin September 3, 1924. They were the parents of six children who survive with their father. They are Dorsey, 14, Howard, 10, Norman Lee, 9, Shirley May, 7, Kenneth, 5, and Lois Darline, 3 in May. Others who survive are two sisters, Mrs. Velma Bolinger south of California and Mrs. Paul Bybee of Knoxville, Tenn.; three brothers, Roy Shores, Lee's Summit, Fred Shores of this City and Earl Shores who is in the U. S. Army in the state of California. She leaves two nieces and seven nephews also.
She became a member of the Christian church at Latham when a young woman. She has lived in the Latham community and California all of her life.
Her husband, a weaver at the Moniteau Woolen Mills, plans to keep his children together in their home.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church this afternoon at 2:30 conducted by the Rev. E. B. Hensley pastor of the Christian church. Burial was in the new City cemetery.
