Mary Esther Shinn of the Masonic Home in Burlington Twp. died Friday, September 18th at the Masonic Home. She was 91.
Mrs. Shinn was born in Westmont, NJ the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Esther Reeve Sass. She was a graduate of Pemberton High School and for many years was a nurses' aide at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown. She was very proud of the fact that she was a riveter during World War II and riveted motor mounts for airplanes. Mrs. Shinn was also an avid bridge player.
Mrs. Shinn is survived by a son Donald Crane and his wife Linda Wolters-Crane of Tabernacle a grandson David William Crane, her brother Dick Sass of Mount Holly and her sister Nellie Shinn of Hainesport. She was the sister of the late Harry Sass.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11AM at the Chapel at the Masonic Home, Oxmead Rd., Burlington Twp. There will be no calling time. Interment will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the New Jersey Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016. Arrangements by the PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, Mount Holly.
