Pearl Shinkle Dungan, 72 years of age, formerly of Eubank, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 1993, at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pearl was survived by a niece, Sandra Howard of London, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Laura Shinkle; her husband, Marion Dungan, whom she married on June 15, 1968, and who departed this life on January 27, 1971; two brothers, Edward Shinkle and Nelson Shinkle; and three sisters, Betty Serrick, Ester Viel and Estella Garber.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 1993, at the Freedom Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky with Rev. A.A. Farris officiating.

THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF PEARL,

If you could see me now you wouldn't shed a tear, Though you may not understand why I'm no longer there. Remember my spirit, that is the real me because I'm still very much alive, I've just been set free. Oh, if you could only see!

I have held our Father's face and I've touched my Savior's hand. All of Heaven's angels rejoiced as I entered the promised land. Beyond the gates of pearl I've walked on the golden streets.

I've touched the walls of jasper and dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words and nothing could compare, I've even seen our Lords mansion and someday I'll meet you there. Let Jesus be your guide because "His Word" will show you the way. So please don't cry because we will meet again someday.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories will never fade, because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live with in our heart.
