She was born on November 21, 1945 to Charles B. and Martha L. (Perkins) Sherr in Kansas City, MO where she grew up. Ann graduated from Grandview High School.
Ann waitressed at the Hitchin’ Post in Plattsburg. She then worked as a secretary for the Clinton County Leader, Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office and retired from the State of Missouri Department of Mental Health.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Ann was also a member of Mid-South Motorcyclists Improving Legislative Effectiveness and was a lifetime member of Freedom of Road Riders Local #29. She loved her animals and enjoyed organizing events for the Mid-South M.I.L.E and F.O.R.R.
Ann was preceded in death by parents, her brother Bruce Allen Taylor, her sister Patricia Mesh, and her granddaughter Alex DeFord.
She is survived by her children Brent DeFord and wife NeQuelle, Robert Murphy and wife Karrin and Pamma Mick; grandchildren Brenna, Ben (fiancé Katelyn), Sam, Jackson, Wesley, Katelyn, Eric, Miranda, Mathew and Patrick; great-grandchildren Hannah, Isabella, Abagail and Alivia; nieces and nephews Paulette, Patrick, Phyllis, and Lee; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12th with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. all at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
