Betty Jane Adkins, age 90, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012.
Betty was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Cyrus and Ruth Sherman. She is also preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Adkins and brother Paul Sherman.
Betty was a very thoughtful and caring woman who had an outgoing personality. She was extremely strong-willed and was called "Grambo" by her grandchildren. Betty was a devout Christian who believed in doing whatever was necessary to take care of her family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with all of them.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
