She was a retired school teacher and a member of Scott Memorial United Methodist Church.
A brother, Berkeley W. Shelton Jr. and two sisters, Lucille S. Willett and Florence S. Hester preceded Mrs. Hanna in death. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dr. William J. Hanna; her niece, Alberta Shelton Stornetta of Annapolis, Md.; her godson, Matthew Disharoon of Virginia Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road chapel, by the Rev. Dr. H. Randolph Arrington and the Rev. James Ullian.
