COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Grover Cleveland Shelton, 94. will be conducted at the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Raymond Riggs officiating.
Mr. Shelton died Feb. 13 at his home at 204 East 12th Street, Cookeville. He was a native of Overton County, son of the late Jake and Miltia Phillips Shelton and was a retired timberman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois Cannon Shelton; two sons, Cordell Shelton, Algood, and Otis Shelton, Mt. Dora, FL; three daughters, Mrs. Claudie Lee, Troy, MI, Mrs. Maude Robinson, Cookeville, and Mrs. Cary Lou Miller, Winter Haven, FL; one stepson, Charles E. Johnson, East Detroit, MI; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Smith, Warren, MI.
Burial will be in Algood Cemetery.
