WEAVERVILLE – Kyle Lee Shelton, age 62, of 347 Blackberry Inn Rd., passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
Kyle was born April 1, 1951 in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He retired from M.S.D. Kyle loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed camping.
Kyle was the son of the late Travis and Lucille Harris Shelton. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Shelton and brother, Gerald Shelton.
Surviving are his daughter, Kelly Calloway and husband Scott of Hendersonville; sister Alene English of Greenville, TN; brothers Simon and Kenneth Shelton both of Mars Hill; and grandson, Austin Calloway.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with Reverend Steve Penland officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
