SHELLABARGER, Anna age 94, of Dayton passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012. Anna graduated from Roosevelt High School and then from Miami Jacobs College with a degree in Business. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dayton, was on the United Methodist Women's district board and taught at the United Theological Seminary for 6 years. Anna spent 13 years as an elected member of the Dayton School Board and was in the first group of Dayton's Top 10 Women of Influence in 1962. She was also a member of the Ohio Vocational Advisory Council, on the founding board of Daybreak, president of the Interfaith Daycare Center board and on the Camp Fire Girl's board. She loved to travel and cook and was very active in her church. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James H., in 1996; and brothers, Jones Lee, Lewis and Joe Terhune. Anna is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Hugh) Hazenfield and Sylvia Clasen; brother, Edward Terhune; sister, Jesse Davidson; grandsons, Anthony (Lara) and Andrew (Michelle) Hazenfield, and numerous other loving family members. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on June 18, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. Family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Anna's name may be made to St. Leonard's Benevolent Fund, 8100 Clyo Rd, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
