STAUNTON — Debra Ann "Debbie" (Sheffer) Cline, 53, of 281 Hermitage Road went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at the family farm in Swoope. Born July 9, 1957, in Staunton, she was a daughter of Forrest M. Sheffer Jr. and Nancy (Sutton) Sheffer.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 30 years, Sam Cline; two children, Derek and Melissa Cline; a sister, Lorie Sheffer; and numerous beloved pets.
Debbie was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and Elizabeth Brant School of Business. She was employed by Sharp Shopper in Waynesboro. Debbie was an active member of Annex United Methodist Church, where she served as custodian and assisted with Vacation Bible School and other activities. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and all things outdoors, and she loved working with her family on the family farm.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home, with burial in Augusta Memorial Park.
