Sept. 13, 1935. Mrs. Mary Bemis Passes On.
Mrs. Mary Bemis who has been in failing health for some time passed away Saturday Sept. 7, at her home in Willcox.
The deceased was born March 28, 1885 in Illinois, and came to Willcox to reside two years ago from Galena, Illinois.
She leaves two children, Mrs. Edith Schillings of this city, and a son L.C. Bemis of Kasper, Wyoming who came for the funeral which was held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Rottman Mortuary. The services were conducted by Rev. A.F. Wahlquist of the Methodist Church. Special music was rendered by Delbert Lawrence who sang, "My Mothers Prayer" with guitar accompaniment.
Interment was in Sunset Cemetery with the Rottman Mortuary in charge.
