Eunice Brown, age 90, of Covington died November 25, 2010, at Social Circle Nursing Home in Social Circle. The daughter of the late Ella Aslee Tanksley and Ellie Elgin Jart Theron Shannon, she was a member of The Baptist Tabernacle. Mrs. Brown was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and was a hard worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Brown, and a daughter, Betty Moon. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Hazel and Royce Forrester of Loganville, Pauline Harvey and Faye and John T. Goodman, all of Covington, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annette Shannon.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2010, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Dr. R. Hudson Moody and Dr. David Moody, officiating, and interment following at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
