MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Elsie Powell Hottle, 101, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Homewood at Williamsport.
Born Nov. 7, 1904, in Jones Spring, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jugertha and Frances Files Shanholtz.
Her husband, J. Edward Hottle, preceded her in death.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Martinsburg.
She was a member of General Adam Stephen Association, Kings Daughters Circle and AARP.
She is survived by one niece and two great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lena Hottle and Encie Edwards.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Dr. G. Edward Drove and Dr. Raymond T. Moreland will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to services at the funeral home
