Pauline Shakespeare Scow has been called home to be with the Lord on February 20,2012. Born a twin on December 23,1928 she was raised in southern Utah in a family of 12 children. She married Kendel W. Scow (died 2-23-2000) in 1948 and moved with her family to Sun Valley in 1958. Pauline retired from Sea & Ski and enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and family. Preceding her in death was her father, Grover Shakespeare, mother Hattie Bell (Wilcox), twin sister Colleen Shakespeare (Blake), sisters Vera Shakespeare (Blake) and Donna Shakespeare (Ratcliffe), brothers Jimmy Shakespeare, Karl Shakespeare and granddaughter Allicia Groy. She is survived by daughter Carolyn Silas (Larry), step-daughter Diane Olsen (Craig), sons Raymond Kendel Scow (Cheryl), Michael Scow (Margarete), 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brothers Stan Shakespeare (Barbara), David Shakespeare (Chela), Tom Shakespeare (Gloria), Steve Shakespeare (Marge), sisters Rose Roundy (Duaine), Mary Mason and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins. She moved into the Cascades of the Sierra in August 2011 and adopted a new set of family members with the residents and care givers. She loved living there and everybody there truly loved assisting her in her needs and desires. Funeral proceedings will be held at the LDS Church, 155 US Highway 95A S, Fernley, NV 89408 on February 24, 2012. Viewing to take place at 10:00am Service at 11:00am followed by interment and blessing at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, NV.
