"Death of Josiah Shaffer."
Josiah Shaffer, a well-known farmer living southeast of town, died last night from leakage of the heart, an affliction which had been troubling him for a long time. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, conducted by Rev. D. Robinson, after which the burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery. Mr. Shaffer was born m Starke county, Ohio. July 5, 1849, and was 69 years of age. He was married to Miss Susie Helm and they have one child, Owen. Mr. Shaffer was a well respected citizen and had many friends.
